this in our house and I was excited to see if they could make a really good modern trilogy and they did this is actually a really really good movie beautifully gorgeously rendered one of the best things about these films is the animation but this one in particular there's one shot early on where we pan from hiccup and toothless flying over to this gigantic amount .
dragons that are just filling the screen and nothing looks copy and paste everything just looks like it's living and breathing within the image the animation here is absolutely spectacular the relationships are well preserved as well it all feels like a natural progression of what we've already seen there are some surprises along
the way to some things I didn't expect my wife is a much bigger fan of this series than I am like she's like I said she watches the show and so she went in really afraid about certain things happening and she was surprised by what she saw and so was I that this film has a good way of setting you up for something but showing you something that maybe you didn't entirely expect it's not as good.
I would say as the other two though I think this might be the worst of the three but it's sort of like a Return of the Jedi case where like I [love Return of the Jedi but it's not the best this is by no means a bad film I mean my god it's a great family movie the music is spectacular it's really funny the action sequences are extremely exciting like I said the animation it's just narrative ly not as interesting as the other two and a lot of it comes down to the villain grimille is a very boring villain he's just another dragon trapper there's not much to him in fact as I was watching the movie.

I'm like oh my gosh that is thoroughly danger flying narrowly escaping the obstacle they're dealing this is basically this is something to address about the whole trilogy of How to Train Your Dragon I love that hiccup has constantly evolved hiccup has constantly grown it's not like he's always a kid he's growing he's the leader of this group of Viking he has to make the calls but given his character and what you know about I mean know he's not gonna feel like he's up to it he's not gonna feel worthy and that's a huge part of this movie and by the end I left with one word which is fulfilled I felt really fulfilled at the end of this movie the end of this movie made this install this movie feels fulfilling but also make the trilogy has a whole feel fulfilling feel like I might like the second one.
I don't know which one I like more the second or the third one I just saw the movie once like an hour ago but the fact is that carries the torch and sticks the landing for the How to Train Your Dragon movies if you didn't like the first two you're definitely not gonna like this one this is for fans of How to Train Your Dragon if you do love the last two How to Train Your Dragon movies treat yourself watch

how to train your dragon 2019 review english - How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is a fantastic finale to the animated film franchise, and a poignant farewell to this beautiful realm of vikings and dragons.
Seeing these characters evolve over the past two films to where they are here feels not only believable but deeply emotional, and weighty as well. In this film, the fearsome dragon tracker Grimmel poses a dangerous new threat to the isle of Berk. He forces its citizens, particularly village chief Hiccup, and his dragon .
Toothless to make some of their hardest sacrifices yet. To this end, Grimmel uses a white, female night fury, the light fury, as bait to try and take out a love struck Toothless. Hiccup's support for his friend just shows how far they've come together as a team. In the past films, it's been about Hiccup developing new relationships. This time, it's Toothless's turn.
The pivotal choice facing Hiccup here is one that the Hiccup from even one film ago wouldn't have had the strength to make. Indeed, none of the characters we met in the first movie would have been capable of what's required of them here. It took the total arc of three films to get them all to reach such a believable and selfless conclusion. There are a lot of callbacks to the first two films here, but not all of them work well.
While the recurring jokes from the earlier movies were fun, they also felt forced and less genuine than before. Visually the awe-inspiring hidden world, a haven for thousands of different kinds of dragons, wonderfully showcases just how far the franchise has come since the 2010 original. Everything from scenes of destruction, to dragon fire, to the softness of human characters' hair all look truly impressive. Factor in the rousing score and you have a movie that's a feast for the senses. And the introduction of the light fury is simply adorable. The way these dragons move and behave, like living, lovable creatures has always .
essential to this franchise. And s film wisely doubles-down hard on all their goofy cuteness. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is a visually stunning and emotional conclusion to this beloved trilogy. While still very funny, the story also adds more mature notes. The franchise has, like its audience, grown up. And this film grapples with more complex themes than before, making for a truly satisfying, yet bittersweet, conclusion.
